Two ways to use Tobago at Carnival
1. The Carnival-weekend escape
Head over before the weekend and spend Carnival by the pool instead of on the road. This suits families with young children, people who want a calmer long weekend, and groups who would rather lime at the villa than fete.
- Big family or group (17–27): The Casa Villa (sleeps 27) or The Fairway Villa (sleeps 26). Both include 18 guests in the base rate. The Casa has an infinity pool, a theatre room and a games room. The Fairway has a waterslide pool, a jacuzzi, a games room and a kids bunk room that sleeps 8.
- Family of up to 16: The Heart Villa, with its heart-shaped pool and a large gazebo with BBQ and outdoor kitchen, or The Nest Villa, with a garden and swing set for the kids. Both are in Samaan Grove, Canaan, a gated community with 24/7 security.
- Couples and small crews: a Beach Collection villa on Stonehaven Bay (3 bedrooms, sleeps 6). The villas sit side by side, so two or three friends' groups can book next to each other.
2. The post-Carnival recovery stay
Play mas Monday and Tuesday, then fly or sail over on Ash Wednesday or later in the week for a few slow days. Check-in is from 3:00 PM, so if you're on an early flight or sailing, plan a beach stop or lunch first. Mt Irvine Beach and Stonehaven Bay are close to The Casa Villa and the Beach Collection.
Getting there from Trinidad
- Air bridge: Caribbean Airlines flies Piarco (POS) to ANR Robinson (TAB), about 25 minutes in the air. Fares and seats change a lot around holidays, so book as soon as your villa is confirmed. We can arrange an airport pickup/transfer.

- Quiet hours apply. At The Casa Villa, amplified music must end by 10:00 PM out of respect for hilltop neighbours. DJs, live bands and outdoor sound systems need prior written approval.
- Declare everyone staying. The larger villas include 18 guests in the base rate. At The Fairway Villa, guests 19 to 26 are US$50 per person per night (US dollars).
- Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
